On This Day February 28th, 1992 Garth Brooks Was #1 On The Country Charts! Brooks’ song “What She’s Doing Now” was his third single from his album Ropin’ the Wind which premiered on December 1991. It spent four weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart.
