Gwen Stefani’s Son Shocks Fans With Country Debut at Ole Red

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton’s blended family is already filled with star power, and now 16-year-old Zuma Rossdale is proving the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree—especially when it comes to country music.

On Saturday, July 19, Zuma hit the stage at Shelton’s Ole Red bar in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, showing fans he’s not just dabbling in country—he’s leaning in hard.

Dressed in classic country gear, complete with a black cowboy hat and an acoustic guitar featuring an American flag, Zuma looked and sounded like a rising star.

Before his set, Shelton took a moment to proudly introduce his step-son, saying, “It’s exciting for us because we hear him sit around the house playing and we’re always the ones saying, ‘Zuma, you gotta get out there and sing in front of people. You’re really talented.’”

Zuma’s setlist included a high-energy cover of John Michael Montgomery’s ’90s hit “Sold (The Grundy County Auction Incident)”, which had the crowd on their feet. He also paid tribute to Shelton with a performance of “Ol’ Red,” the 2001 song that inspired the name of the venue.

This isn’t Zuma’s first time performing at Ole Red, but it may be the most polished—and country—set yet.

To top it all off, Shelton shared that Zuma even had his own merch for sale after the show, hinting that this young performer might be taking his country dreams seriously.

Could a debut single be far behind?
