Jason Aldean Reacts to Post Malone Opening a Bar on Broadway

Lower Broadway in Nashville is getting a major new neighbor—and Jason Aldean is totally on board.

It was recently announced that Post Malone is opening his own massive bar and restaurant right next door to Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Rooftop Bar at 305 Broadway.

The new venue will replace the former Tequila Cowboy space and promises to be one of the biggest yet on the strip, boasting 26,000 square feet, six bars, three stages, and a rooftop with prime views of Music City.

Jason Aldean Gives His Stamp of Approval

When asked how he felt about Post Malone’s new bar opening so close to his own, Aldean responded with a casual thumbs-up.

“Post is all right. He’s a pretty good guy,” Aldean told The Tennessean ahead of CMA Fest. “I’m excited to have him next door.”

Aldean added that he’s happy to see Malone getting involved in country music and feels his presence brings something fun and refreshing to the genre.

“I think it’s good for the genre and kind of fun for everybody.”

A New Era of Celebrity-Owned Bars

Nashville’s Broadway has become a hotspot for artist-backed venues. From Miranda Lambert’s Pink House to bars owned by Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley, and Blake Shelton, the trend shows no signs of slowing down. Post Malone’s entrance into the scene is another big name helping reshape the downtown experience.

Malone’s venue will be operated by the TC Restaurant Group, the same team behind Aldean’s own bar. Though the official name and opening date haven’t been released, the space is expected to open later this summer.

Malone on Why He Chose Nashville

Post Malone shared a few words about the upcoming venue:

“We’ve created a space where everyone can come together and kick some ass. Nashville has really become a second home for me, so I can’t wait to invite y’all over to my house.”

What to Expect

Here’s what fans can look forward to at Post Malone’s new spot:

  • 6 fully stocked bars
  • 3 live music stages
  • A full-service restaurant
  • Rooftop views of downtown Nashville
  • Unique memorabilia and design inspired by Malone’s career

Whether you’re a country fan, a Post Malone fan, or just someone who loves a good time on Broadway, this new venue is sure to make waves when it opens its doors.
