Matt Stell Marries Fiancée 24 Hours After Engagement!
Country singer Matt Stell started the year with a bang, revealing on Instagram that he not only got engaged but also married his fiancée, Kasey Harvey, within 24 hours.
Fans first got a glimpse of the couple’s relationship at the 2024 CMA Awards in November, where they walked the red carpet together.
But Stell dropped the big news in a casual Instagram video, asking, “How were your holidays?” before delivering the shocker:
“Ours was because on Friday we were in Mexico and we got engaged,” he shared.
Then he added, “That was on Friday and on Saturday we got married. I’m not joking. She married me on Saturday. How about them apples?”
In the video, Harvey showed off her ring while Stell flashed his new wedding band.
He also posted photos from the beach proposal, complete with a “Will You Marry Me” sign written in the sand.
Stell wore a white button-down and brown pants, while Harvey stunned in a red dress.
Stell’s mom, Lisa, is thrilled about her son’s new wife, whom she adores.
“I’m beyond thrilled to welcome Kasey into our family,” she wrote on social media, calling the weekend “our very own romantic Hallmark movie!”
Stell, ever the joker, admits his mom might love Harvey even more than him. “Sometimes I’m like, ‘Can I join?’” he joked about their bond. “Can I be in the group text?”
