Cody Johnson Pauses Tour Due to Illness

Cody Johnson pauses tour due to illness that has affected his voice. The five-time CMA Awards nominee took to social media late Wednesday, announcing that he was “feeling down” about the decision but hoped his fans would understand.

The postponed performances were set for Charlotte, North Carolina on Friday, September 20, and Charleston, South Carolina on Saturday, September 21. Johnson’s team confirmed the news, explaining that “due to illness over the past several days, which has unfortunately resulted in a loss of voice, Cody Johnson’s shows will be rescheduled.” The official statement expressed apologies for any inconvenience caused and thanked fans for their support.
