Luke Combs Picked A Cappella Over a Frat

Back in his college days at Appalachian State, Luke Combs was faced with a major decision: join a fraternity or stick with his a cappella group. The two commitments clashed on the same night, and the fraternity gave him an ultimatum, he had to pick one.
Fortunately for music fans everywhere, Luke chose to keep singing, walking away from Greek life to stay with the a cappella crew. That choice may have changed the course of his career.
And let’s be honest, Luke’s love for beer still gives off frat-boy energy, so maybe he got the best of both worlds. Matching outfits or not (we’ll leave that to barbershop quartets), his decision paid off big time.
Here’s to Luke for putting music first. Country music is all the better for it.
