Conner Smith Involved in Fatal Nashville Car Accident

A tragic accident in Nashville’s Germantown neighborhood claimed the life of 77-year-old Dorothy Dobbins after she was struck by a vehicle while walking a dog. The driver, identified as 24-year-old country singer and Nashville native Conner Smith, hit Dobbins in a crosswalk around 7:30 p.m.

Authorities report that Smith failed to yield the right of way, though he showed no signs of impairment. He is cooperating fully with the investigation, and as of now, no charges have been filed.

Smith’s attorney has extended condolences to Dobbins’ family, but his social media accounts have remained silent on the incident.
