On this day March 2, 1997 Shania Twain released the album Come On Over. Come On Over became the best-selling album in country music by a female act! This was Shania’s third studio album and it debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. Come On Over continued to sit there at #1 for 50 non-consecutive weeks and stayed in the Top Ten for 151 weeks.
