Nate Smith and HARDY Drop New Collab...

Nate Smith and HARDY have finally teamed up for a collaboration– “Nobody Likes Your Girlfriend.” 

Songwriters Jessie Jo Dillon, Michael Hardy, Ben Johnson and Hunter Phelps are behind the story of two friends staging an intervention to get their buddy out of a bad relationship. 

“I ain’t sayin’ that she ain’t drop dead/ But boy, she knows it when she turns them heads/ Got a good girl dress that you love when she slips on/ But your floor ain’t the only one it’s been on/ Brother, I ain’t tryna start no fight/ Ain’t what you wanna hear on a Friday night/ I know she’s got you in a love drunk whirlwind/ But man to man, nobody likes your girlfriend,” they sing on the chorus.

What’s even better than the collab is the music video! The duo teamed up with actor/comedian Kevin James to bring their story to life.  Smith shared his enthusiasm about James’ involvement, revealing that he initially reached out to the comedian on a whim and was thrilled when James agreed to participate.

The video opens with a “public service announcement” that reads, “If you or someone you know has been subject to a girlfriend nobody likes, there are resources available via our website www.breakupwithher.net.” This link takes listeners to a page with the video and streaming link.
