Blake Shelton is trading his red Voice chair for the stage again, and Jason Aldean couldn’t resist a little playful jab.

Blake recently joked about “trying out country music again,” now that he’s stepping back from his TV gig. Aldean quickly chimed in with a challenge: “Leaving TV to get back in the music game, huh? Let’s see what you’ve got. Let’s see if you’ve lost a step.”

It’s all in good fun between the two country stars, but one thing’s for sure—fans are ready to see if Blake’s still got it (spoiler: he does). Let the friendly competition begin!
