Shepherd Community Center is based on the Eastside of Indianapolis where poverty rates in these areas reach as high as 38.6{a18c87a46add82dbee5e4fa4c0cab30d5f6e3bbf78c3f52c3c01413f7f531a16}. And 8 out of 10 children rely on school as their primary source of food during the week.
Yet, Shepherd exists to provide hope and support to their neighbors. And volunteers are the lifeblood of the center! They depend on them daily to keep the programs running smoothly and effectively!
