Rising country star Shaboozey dropped a new music video for Highway on Friday morning for his follow-up single to A Bar Song (Tipsy). Highway is the fifth single from his major-label debut album, Where I’ve Been, Isn’t Where I’m Going, which was released in May.

The video sees Shaboozey wandering aimlessly through a rustic American small town somewhere in the heartland. The journey sees him exploring a forgotten and decaying school building, riding in the back of an old Ford pickup truck, strolling through a carnival and staring into the flames of a campfire. Accompanying him on his journey is his acoustic guitar and the unresolved feelings of what must have been a past relationship.

Shaboozey recently earned his first two CMA Award nominations; Best New Artist and Single of the Year for A Bar Song (Tipsy). He will be heading to Houston Nov. 17 as part of his tour with Jelly Roll.
