Real Christmas trees
Americans bought 27.4 million real Christmas trees and another 21 million artificial Christmas trees this year. There are about three times as many artificial trees decorated each year as real trees. Since artificial trees last many years, they always undersell real trees in a given year but there are more of them around. The O’Briens have an artificial tree. Casey and his family have a real one.
