According to a new survey, the average American adult thinks about this for four hours every week, usually while driving or trying to fall asleep.

Work

We think about work for fours hours of our non-working time every week. On average we also work an extra four hours a week for free, doing things like checking emails or returning phone calls while off the clock. It’s no surprise that 48{f08af400499f49ebebec43b71545de24d0cbb35d14a8bc084edd71717d793f40} of American workers consider themselves work-a-holics. We also spend an average of 7.5 hours a day staring at some sort of screen. Doctors say those types of numbers are affecting our eyesight and stress levels! How much do you think about work when you’re not at work?
