Joe Bonsall of The Oak Ridge Boys Passes Away

Joe Bonsall, a cherished member of the legendary country music ensemble The Oak Ridge Boys, has passed away at the age of 76. His death, attributed to complications from Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), occurred on July 9, 2024, in Hendersonville, Tennessee.
In a heartfelt release, it was shared that Bonsall is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Ann, daughters Jennifer and Sabrina, granddaughter Breanne, grandson Luke, two great-grandsons, Chance and Grey, and his sister, Nancy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph S. Bonsall Sr. and Lillie Bonsall.
Bonsall made a significant impact in the world of country music, having joined The Oak Ridge Boys in 1973. His distinctive tenor voice and dedication to the group earned him admiration and respect throughout his 50-year tenure.
