Jelly Roll made his musical guest debut on the season 50 premiere of Saturday Night Live, performing two new songs, “Liar” and “Winning Streak,” from his upcoming album Beautifully Broken, set for release on October 11th.
In true Jelly Roll fashion, it was nothing but positive energy and moving lyrics as host, Jean Smart, introduced him. Sporting a gray denim jacket, Jelly performed “Liar,” a bold song about confronting addiction. For his second performance, he energized the audience with “Winning Streak,” a track inspired by his experiences in Alcoholics Anonymous.
