Morgan Wallen has released the studio version of his highly anticipated song “Lies, Lies, Lies.” Initially teased during his Abbey Road Sessions, the song, written by Jessie Jo Dillon, Josh Miller, Daniel Ross, and Chris Tompkins, was recorded at London’s Studio Two in Abbey Road Studios after Wallen’s sold-out show at The O2.

Released on March 3, 2024, the song marks the one-year anniversary of Wallen’s third studio album, One Thing At A Time. Already a fan favorite in his live shows, “Lies, Lies, Lies” reveals a softer side of the East Tennessee native as he struggles to move on from a breakup. The chorus highlights his inner conflict:

“Lies, lies, lies/ Look into my eyes, eyes, eyes/ I’m still a fool for you/ Nothing I wouldn’t do for you/ Lies, lies, lies/ Girl, I’m on a downhill dive/ Habits and hard heartbreaks are hard to break/ So I just tell the same old lies, lies, lies/ Yeah, baby I can try, try, try.”

Wallen’s emotional connection to the lyrics, despite not writing them, is evident in what many fans are calling his best vocal performance yet.
