The Band Perry Returns With New Lineup and Fresh Start
The Band Perry is officially back, but fans will notice a big change—this isn’t the same sibling trio that broke onto the scene in 2009 with “Hip to My Heart” and scored major success with hits like “If I Die Young” and “Better Dig Two.”
Now reimagined as a new trio, Kimberly Perry and brother Reid Perry have teamed up with Kimberly’s husband, Johnny Costello. With brother Neil Perry stepping away to pursue a solo career, the new lineup marks a bold return to their country roots after years spent exploring the pop world.
The group has signed with Make Wake Artists, known for working with stars like Luke Combs, and is back under their longtime label Big Machine Label Group. Their return is being hailed as a fresh start and a full-circle moment for the band.
“Coming back home to our Big Machine / Nashville Harbor family feels like a beautiful full-circle moment,” Kimberly said. “This reunion feels like a second chance and a deeper chapter.”
The Band Perry’s comeback is already generating buzz. According to Scott Borchetta, CEO of BMLG, the group’s new music “brings a world of experiences” that fans—both old and new—will love. Jimmy Harnen of Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment adds that their latest sound recalls the multi-Platinum success that made them household names.
Their first major show since reuniting is happening tonight in Nashville at the Ryman Auditorium as part of the Opry 100 celebration.
With a new lineup, renewed purpose, and strong industry backing, The Band Perry is ready for its next chapter—and country music might be better for it.
