Post Malone is already hard at work on his second country album, revealing he’s written about 35 songs for the project.

Following the success of his debut country album F-1 Trillion, which topped the Billboard charts, Malone is eager to release more country tunes that fans can look forward to soon.

During his Coachella performance, the artist teased new music and shared that he’s been frequenting Nashville to fine-tune the sound of his next album.

As he put it, “I’m pretty excited for the new record already. Made probably 35 songs; it’s just a matter of which one’s rock, and which one’s sock.”

Though details are scarce, he mentioned the challenge of deciding which tracks lean country and which veer towards rock.

“I think finally bringing the fun back into what I was doing really showed on the record. And I think a lot of folks had fun listening to it. And we’re going to attempt to do it again. I’m excited to keep going.”

F-1 Trillion, which featured collaborations with Morgan Wallen and Lainey Wilson, proved a massive hit, offering 27 tracks in total.

Post Malone’s new album promises a similar style, with potential collaborations and a focus on live performance, giving the band room to put their spin on the songs.

“I said in an interview a while ago, ‘When I’m 30 years old, I’m gonna make a country record.’ And I made it at 29, so I wasn’t too far off. But you know, it just happened naturally. I was like, ‘F— it, let’s go to Nashville. Let’s give it a go.’”

Post Malone’s shift to country music has been well-received, and with the success of his previous album, it’s clear the artist is enjoying this musical journey.

Fans can expect new music soon, and based on Malone’s excitement, it’s bound to be another hit.

Stay tuned for updates on this highly anticipated album!
