Shaboozey, known for his hit “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” recently revealed that he once dabbled in writing a romance novel during his teenage years. In an interview with Cosmopolitan, the 29-year-old shared, “I started writing a romance novel when I was around 18. I have it on my phone.”
The story, according to Shaboozey, centers around “an art thief engaging in something pretty taboo, and the other was an art enthusiast. It was about these two people who were very well connected to each other and met later in life under the pretense of art.” Despite the intriguing plot, the project remains unfinished.

“I got, like, 300 pages in and then I left it alone,” Shaboozey admitted. “I realized it would take a lot of time to really finish it out. Maybe I got lazy. It felt like I needed 400 more pages to finish.”
He also shared that he didn’t use any structured plan, confessing, “I didn’t have an outline. I just started writing.” Interestingly, the chart-topping star admitted, “I’ve actually never read a romance novel.”
