Within the last two years, Kane Brown got married to his wife, Katelyn and they had their beautiful daughter, Kingsley Rose. After sitting down for a recent interview, Kane revealed that he and his wife hardly talked the first night they met and they originally thought Kingsley was going to be a boy!
Kane revealed that when he first met Katelyn, the love at first sight was not mutual. The night they met, it was at one of his shows that one of their mutual friends had to drag her to go to. The two of them didn’t even talk -at most, he said just said “hey”. Although it wasn’t love at first sight for her, he thought she was “adorable” and asked her to come to see him in Nashville the next day. “I flew her down and we just, we hit it off and she never left,” he said. Brown must have done at least ‘one thing right’ because the two got married in October of 2018!
The following year, the two of them found out they were expecting. They originally thought they were going to have a boy and “were going to name him Kingston” Brown shared. Since the two of them already share the KB initials, they wanted to keep that going. When they found out they were having a girl, the thought it would be cool to still call her King. Brown then shared that “We fell in love with the name Kingsley.”
They revealed Kingsley’s name at a baby shower thrown by friends, Jason, and wife Brittany Aldean. Soon after, they welcomed their sweet baby girl, Kingsley Rose Brown, to their family in October of 2019. Currently, Kane and Katelyn are quarantining as a new family of three and feeling very blessed that they are getting to spend so much time together. Kingsley recently turned 6 months old and he shared that “the blessing for me is just getting to see everything that she does. I’m not missing one second.”
