Brett Eldredge is back with some holiday cheer! He just announced his third holiday album, Merry Christmas (Welcome to the Family), dropping on Sept. 27, and it’s packed with eight festive tracks that are sure to get you in the holiday spirit. The first track he’s sharing is “Sweet December” featuring none other than Kelly Clarkson, and it’s already shaping up to be a fan favorite.

This holiday project is a personal one for Eldredge. He’s even releasing it on his own label, Warm and Cozy Records, a fitting name for the kind of atmosphere this album is aiming to create. Brett explained, “We wanted to capture that classic Christmas sound, but with a little bit of my own soulful, jazzy twist. I want this album to feel like a reflection of the holidays—love, togetherness, family, and community.”

Festive Collaboration with Kelly Clarkson

Eldredge talked about the excitement behind “Sweet December,” saying, “There was no one else in the world I wanted to sing this with other than Kelly. She’s got that soulful, retro sound, and it just brings the warmth of the season to life.” Fans will remember the magic they created back in 2020 with their duet, “Under The Mistletoe,” and it looks like they’ve done it again with this new track.
