The 2025 Grammy Awards take place on Sunday, Feb. 2, marking the 67th annual show in the academy’s history. While Sunday’s event will be a time where several artists add to their trophy case or win for the first time, it’s important to highlight the legendary artists of country music that have been snubbed by the Grammys. Here’s 25 country stars that never won a Grammy award:

25 Country Stars That Never Won a Grammy:

1. Jason Aldean

Aldean, one of the most accomplished country artists of there past decade, has only received five Grammy nominations with no wins.

2. Bill Anderson

Nominated as recently as 2023, Anderson has been nominated by the Grammys five times without a win.

3. John Anderson

Anderson has been nominated by the Grammys three times without a win.

The 67th Annual Grammy Awards mark Ballerini’s third consecutive year with a nomination, making it five overall. She could earn her first Grammy in 2025 for Best Country Vocal Duo/Group for Cowboys Cry Too.

5. Dierks Bentley

Bentley has been nominated an astounding 15 times without a win. His most recent Grammys nomination came in 2024.

6. Luke Bryan

Bryan has never received a nomination from the academy.

7. Kenny Chesney

Chesney has received six Grammy nominations without a win.

8. Tyler Childers

Tyler Childers failed to take him a Grammy award in 2024 after receiving five nominations. He’s received seven nominations throughout his career.

9. Eric Church

Church has received 10 Grammy nominations without a win.

10. Patsy Cline

Cline was around for the early years of the Grammy awards, but never received a nomination during her lifetime or posthumously. She received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the academy in 1995.

11. Luke Combs

Combs has been racking up Grammy nominations, with eight total, through his career. He could win his first in 2025 for Ain’t No Love in Oklahoma in the “Best Song Written for Visual Media” category.

12. Florida Georgia Line

Florida Georgia Line received a single nomination in 2019 for their song Meant to Be in the “Best Country Duo/Group Performance” category.

13. Sam Hunt

Hunt has received five Grammy nominations without a win.

14. Cody Johnson

Despite the accolades Johnson has racked up at other award shoes, Johnson has received no love from the Grammy Awards. He has zero nominations.

15. Jamey Johnson

Johnson has earned 10 Grammy nominations without a single win.

16. Toby Keith

Keith was nominated for seven Grammy Awards during his lifetime, but never won an award from the academy.

17. Martina McBride

McBride has earned 14 Grammy nominations throughout her career, but has never taken home any hardware from the ceremony.

18. Buck Owens

Owens received Grammy nominations at the 6th and 7th annual award shows, and then again at the 31st and 32nd annual shows; five nominations without a win.

19. Jon Pardi

Pardi has yet to receive a Grammys nomination.

20. Rascal Flatts

Rascal Flatts has earned four Grammy nominations without a win.

21. Thomas Rhett

Rhett has earned five Grammy nominations without a win.

22. Blake Shelton

It’s been five years since the last time Shelton was nominated for a Grammys Award. His nomination total stands at eight.

23. Morgan Wallen

Wallen received his first pair of Grammy nominations in 2025 for his song with Post Malone; I Had Some Help. 

24. Keith Whitley

Whitley received three Grammy nominations without a win during his lifetime.

25. Don Williams

Williams had three Grammy nominations to his name, picking up his third 31 years after his first two.
