Elvis has entered the building, and by building, we mean the country music world this week!

On May 20th, Blake Shelton appeared on the show, Jay Leno’s Garage. The two drove in an amazing vintage teal 1967 GMC truck, with Jay Leno in the passenger seat and Blake behind the wheel. The topic of Elvis came up and Leno recalls watching the ‘Elvis 68 Comeback Special.’ when he was in high school and it had first come out. Blake tells Leno that he had been picked as the artist to do the 50th anniversary of it last year. When Blake was asked if he is a big fan of Elvis, he responded with “of course!”

Leno then dropped the news “This is Elvis’ truck, we had it shipped out here for you to drive.” After telling him that he is currently sitting where the King had once sat, Blake responded with “This is literally unbelievable. I would’ve never dreamed that Elvis Presley even owned a truck!”

The Elvis theme did not stop there this week! Even though Toby Keith is quarantining in Mexico, he found a guitar in an old furniture shop to play on. Using his iPhone and old guitar, he’s been recording amazing songs and decided to give rock and roll a try this week. He crushed it with his Elvis cover “(Now and Then There’s) A Fool Such as I.” Of course, Toby Keith did add his country style to his Elvis cover!
