Today is the only day of the year that the North Pole will have this all day.

Sunlight

It’s the summer solstice today – the arrival of summer happened at 6:07 a.m. this morning. We’ll see more sunlight today than any other day of the year but the North Pole and all locations within the Arctic Circle will see sunlight for 24 hours today. All locations within the Antarctic Circle will have 24 hours of dark today. With all of the clouds and rain around today I’m not sure how much actual sunlight we’ll see but Happy Summer!
