According to a new study, young American adults are having fewer children than at any other time in history and the young adults say this is the number one reason why.
They want more leisure time and don’t want the responsibility of a child
The number one reason young adults aren’t having kids is because they just don’t have time for them or want more time for themselves. The other top reasons were that they hadn’t found a parenting partner yet, can’t afford a house and are not sure they would be a good parent. I understand if you don’t want a have a partner or can’t afford a kid or just don’t want one but if you’re worries you won’t be a good parent, you’re ready for kids! You’ll worry about that until the kids are adults themselves! Are you putting off having kids? What’s the reason?
