According to a new study, the average Indianapolis resident wastes about 8 minutes every morning here.
Stuck in traffic
We sit in traffic for about 8 minutes every morning and 7 minutes every afternoon. That adds up to 58 hours a year that Indianapolis drivers spend in traffic! That sounds like a lot but it actually puts us very near the bottom of the list for major American cities. We are 69th on the list, well behind the 44 minutes a day driver in Los Angeles spend in traffic. San Francisco, New York and San Jose, California were also among the most congested city.
