According to a new study, Mississippi has the worst of these in the nation, Massachusetts has the best and, despite what you might be seeing this morning, Indiana surprisingly has the 23rd best.
Drivers
The study looked at the number of accidents, uninsured drivers and drunk driving arrests in each state and determined that the worst drivers in the nation are in Mississippi, followed by Tennessee, California, Missouri and New Mexico. The states with the best drivers were Massachusetts (which will make my father gloat!), Vermont, Nebraska, Connecticut and New York (where hardly anyone owns a car!) Indiana finished right near the middle of the pack at 23rd best. What states do you think have the worst drivers? Ohio, anyone? (They were worse than Indiana!)
