According to a new survey of employers, this is the number one overrated quality job seekers assume they are bringing to a new job.
Creativity
In other words, people looking for jobs tend to put “creativity” as one of their more important skills but employers rank it very low on the list. They don’t want your creativity! They want your conformity! Employers say they are looking for problem solving, teamwork and communication as their top three skills with creativity ranked 9th. Employees think their best skills to offer an employer are creativity, organization and problem solving. Do you work in a job that values your creativity?
