This event happens twice a week in Atlanta, Georgia and even though you only see 60 seconds of it, the entire thing takes three hours and at least three people to pull off.
A MegaMillions drawing
MegaMillions drawings take place Tuesday and Friday nights at 11 p.m. at the studios of WSB-TV in Atlanta. Even though you only see the 60 seconds of the actual drawing, the whole process takes about three hours and at least three people. Two lottery officials and an independent outside auditor test all of the drawing machines (there are several) and then randomly select one of them to use on-air. They run tests before and after the drawing to make sure the machines function properly. Well – they didn’t function properly for me last night! One winning ticket was sold in South Carolina for the record $1.6 billion MegaMillions jackpot! The numbers (in case you still think you have a chance) were 5-28-62-65-70 and MegaBall 5. Did you even win a couple of bucks or a free ticket? Did your dreams come crashing back down to reality this morning?
