93{f08af400499f49ebebec43b71545de24d0cbb35d14a8bc084edd71717d793f40} of corporate CEO’s in the survey say they had a childhood pet and learned responsibility and empathy – skills that help them in their leadership roles today. Nearly the same amount of those CEO’s have a pet today and say they come up with good business ideas while spending time with the pet. They also say they hope their children will learn the same lessons from pet ownership they did. We had a cat when I was growing up and various fish. I now have a dog and horse. All of them taught me responsibility. Maybe I’ll be CEO one day! What did you have for a pet growing up?
