Dustin Lynch is no stranger to number one songs, but he has hit a new benchmark in his career. His first song he has had a part in writing has gone number one!
Dustin Lynch’s latest single “Good Girl” has gone number one on the Billboard Country Airplay Chart, making it his sixth number one song in his career. But this one is even more special. It’s his first song he has had a hand in writing! “Good Girl” is his sixth number one song behind “Hell Of A Night,” “Mind Reader,” “Seein’ Red,” “Small Town Boy,” and “Where It’s At“.
Dustin said in an ABC press release, “Hopefully as a songwriter, this is the start,” Dustin says. “With new music on the way, I can guarantee there will be more right around the corner.” He reflected, “I’ve never started the year with a #1 song, and I’ve got to say, this feels really good. I moved to town with the dream of writing songs and singing on stage, and finally the stars aligned, and everything worked out.”
