Dario Franchetti joined Ryan Wild and Scott Borchetta, Big Machine Label Group President/CEO, the week of the 103rd Running of the Indianapolis 500.
Franchitti has won three Indianapolis 500 races, and we had to ask… how is the milk in the Winner’s Circle? Does it live up to all the hype??
YUP. Franchitti says it’s amazing and ice cold, but he found out the hard way that you’re only allowed one bottle—if you pour it over your head before drinking it, that’s all you get!
Now that we have that cleared up… Wild had to know if the feeling changed by the third Indianapolis 500 win rolled around. Did Franchitti feel different every time or did each one feel like the first win?
“It’s the only thing in my life I’ve done that the more I did it, the more it meant to me, the more excited I was about it…” Franchitti said. “500, each year, I slept a bit less, I worked a bit harder, it meant a bit more, I tried just that fraction more…”
