Country 97.1 HANK FM is proud to once again be partnering with Habitat for Humanity in building a home for another deserving Indianapolis family! This year we're kicking things up a notch as we plan to build the 2010 Habitat for Humanity Ag House in just 15 DAYS at the Indiana State Fair!
Leading Indiana agricultural business and agricultural related organizations are joining forces with Habitat, the Indiana State Fair, and Country 97.1 HANK FM to build this house in just 15 days during the Indiana State Fair this August! This will be no small feat, and the house will be open to the public daily during the fair!
Following the fair, the completed house will be moved to a residential location in a nearby neighborhood.
 Since 1987, Habitat for Humanity of Great Indianapolis has built 374 homes in Indianapolis for families in need. In 2010, they plan to continue to add to that total!

Country 97.1 HANK FM will be onsite each and every day of the build! We'll also be broadcasting throughout the build, courtesy of our friends at Mr. Quik! Please be sure to stop by and see us while you're out at the fair!

In addition to their sponsorship, Mr. Quik Home Services will be donating their time, expertise, and materials to the Habitat for Humanity Ag House home. They are providing and installing the electrical and the HVAC (heating, cooling and ventilation) systems to the home.

Tamika Allen, and her 5 children, Essence, Ezene, Lee, Le'Nay, and Leeah will be the recipients of the 2010 Habitat for Humanity Ag House! We are so happy to be helping build this deserving family a new home of their very own!

The Habitat for Humanity Ag House is special in many ways, not only are we building it in just 15 days at the Indiana State Fair, but it is also accompanied with an important message from the Indiana agriculture community! These businesses and orgnizations have come together to educate the public about the importance of their industry, and all of the things that agriculture brings to the state of Indiana! Without their support, building this house would be impossible! Many thanks to each of them for their contributions and making this dream a reality for the Allen family!
